Learning How to Write the Controlling Idea as a Topic Sentence
Today in class we all learned more about how to write the controlling idea as a Topic Sentence. To me, this was one of the complications I have always had while writing a paper. Writing a topic sentence is definately a major part in writing a successful paper. It was also interesting learning about how everyone of you would end the topic sentence and share what you had in mind. Knowing how creative you guys are in ending topic sentences allows me to challenge myself and to think of more ideas for a paper.

The topic sentence is always the important part of the paper because it is what our paper is going to write about. I'm glad we covered this chapter. I'm also happy that I understood the material very clearly.
